Control Friday’s at the Avalon Hollywood welcomes Sak Noel, Dave Nada, Jenn Morel, Joelii b2b Maffio, Franklin Dam and Spydatek for Barnaton night.
The Latin Grammy nominated artist Sak Noel is a songwriter and record producer who takes on the production side with a spanish take. Sak Noel is best known for one of his first hit singles ‘Loca People’ that became the number one track in more than 15 countries around the world. Later, he was nominated for the ‘Best Urban Song’ at the Latin Grammy’s for Pitbull’s remix of ‘Loca People.’ Sak teams up with vocalist Mayra Veronica for ‘No Boyfriend’ released on Ultra Records that charted at #40 on US Dance Billboard, and got well over 20 million views on Youtube. Drifting through on the success train, he releases ‘Pinga’ which landed a nomination as the Best Latin Dance Track at the International Dance Music Awards.
East Coast native, Dave Nada will bring his booty twerking beats best known as moombahton to the building. His music is identified as a spread of reggaeton with flares of electronic house music. He remains busy performing all across North America from DC to San Francisco and one of the most renowned international festivals, EDC Mexico.
Dominican singer and songwriter Jenn Morel started off as a dancer appearing in music videos for Drake, Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz. She debuted as a singer in 2017 with ‘Ponteme’ which landed at #19 on the Italian charts. After her first debut, she had a groundbreaking performance at EDC Mexico that same year making her one of the top Latins’ music rising stars.
Both with New York roots, Joelii and Maffio will be doing a back to back. They will be playing some Indie Latino music with inviting pop and house sequences into the mix. Joelii and Maffio have stayed true to their spanish roots spreading their music over numerous of famed spanish radio shows and events around the US including Mexico.
Ecuadorian Franklin Dam first seen his cousin producing music, and since then he’s been hooked. Starting his musical career at 13 years old, he took the first step to play at several clubs and pubs in Girona. His music incorporates melbourne bounce and progressive house all under the EDM umbrella. Franklin’s influences include Martin Garrix, Deorro, and Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.
Receiving the likes of top-tier acts like Diplo, Dillon Francis, Ape Drums and Anna Lunoe, Spydatek has been gaining the respect in the bass music. Besides releasing tracks like ‘Duro Bass’ getting the support by Ookay, and Annie Nightingale, he hosts his own mix show, The Beat FM showcasing new music and artists in Hip Hop House, Tropical Bass and Future Sounds.
