Friday Night Sound Meditation begins with gentle stretching and movement to open and settle the body. We then settle into savasana for a relaxing sound concert. A gong, crystal bowls, chimes and a rainstick are played to soothe the body and the mind. Sound is made up of vibrations and frequencies and so is the human body. When music and healing sounds are played, the body begins to resonate with the new vibrations. Increasing the vibration and frequencies of the body can help eliminate energy blocks, balance the chakras and reduce stress. Following a sound meditation session, you will feel energized yet calm and peaceful.
