Awaken Mindfully is a 6 week course in relaxation, resilience and mindful awareness.
As a Holistic Counsellor I see many people struggling with chronic stress, anxiety, relationship issues, physical illness, anger and sadness. With so many obstacles preventing them from embracing the small moments of joy in life. Life is made of those moments, some joyful, some mundane, some frustrating or unpleasant. If we can increase our resilience to stress (our ability to cope and bounce back) and learn to harness the present moment we are able improve our quality of life.
Who is this course for: any person wishing to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, increase health and wellbeing, or simply make positive changes in ones life.
What will it cover: neuroscience of emotional resilience, understanding stress and the body, mindfulness philosophy and practice, connection to personal patterns and behaviours, relaxation techniques and strategies.
When: X 6 (90min) sessions. 7:30pm Wednesdays
