WELCOME TO THE 15TH ANNUAL
BURDEKIN AUTO FESTIVAL
This year is going to be a little different, we have free Friday Honeycombs Tractor pull, this means free entry and tractor pulling entertainment, HOW COOL IS THAT. This will start 12 noon and run through into the night, but food and drink on this day will be very very minimal so you may need to BYO. Now if you can’t make it on the Friday don’t worry, as the tractor pull will be running all day Saturday and half a day Sunday as well.
On Saturday the battle will start with the return of the A&L Gilchrist Excavation Grass Driving Events, and the Prostart Automotive Go-To-Whoa, this should bring forth some great! competition amongst our fellow car enthusiasts, as they test there driving abilities. Now remember, to be able to participate in either of these events you will need RALLY EXTENTION COVER, this is normally free, but it does take a phone call to your car insurer, to let them know before the event. You must compete on Saturday to be eligible for the finals on Sunday.
Saturday night, from 7pm till late, Cruisers Rock ‘n’ Roll Dinner Dance, will be a 50’s American diner inspired meal, with a make your own dessert bar. The Koffin Rockers will rock the night away. So, bring your dancing shoes as this will be a night to remember. Tickets are $30 a head and need to be pre-purchased by the 20 of April, so don’t forget!!!
Sunday, gates open 7am. We have an action-packed day set out for you all, from the Honeycombs tractor pull finals, the A&L Gilchrist Excavations Grass driving events finals, the Pro Start Automotive Go-To-Whoa Finals and the mighty Car & Bike Show & Shine, what an action-packed day this will be, WOW.
Trophy presentation will be at 2.30-3pm with a final kiss and some cuddles (maybe a tear or to) to say good bye and to wrap up another great Burdekin Auto festival.
Camping to entrants is free but a powered site will be $10.
