Join us to find out some things we have learned as Early Interventionists and Moms! Join Mackenzie Grinsteinner, M.S. & Virginia Hamilton, M.S., OTR/L from the K.I.D.S. Program at 1:30pm for The New Baby on the Block!
We will talk about good baby gear options!
We will discuss the amount of time babies should spend in baby gear.
We will talk about proper positioning while baby is in different gear.
We will discuss the importance of floor time and tummy time for your baby.
We will go over how to watch for signs of a flat head and ways to try and prevent it.
Finally, we will be open to questions and discussion about what you want to know more about baby gear, play time, and child development!
Mackenzie Grinsteinner was born and raised in Dickinson, ND. She is an Early Childhood Special Educator at the K.I.D.S. Program. Mackenzie and her husband, Aaron, have a 21 month old daughter, Evelyn, and another baby on the way. Mackenzie is motivated and inspired by the work that she gets to do each day in early intervention with children and families.
Ginny is an occupational therapist who has been working in early intervention with the K.I.D.S. Program for over five years. She is passionate about her job and helping children and families every day! Ginny is married to her husband, Andrew for almost three years. They have a 22 month old daughter, Frankie, and their second child on the way. Since having her daughter, Ginny has become even more passionate about child development and how to best promote it for children.
