This beautiful painted peony cake class will introduce students to all the skills and techniques required to make clean and simple finished round cake. Students will also learn how to make and colour a beautiful sugar flower.
In this class students will learn:
- How to tort and ganache a round cake using the lid method
- How to roll out and cover a round cake in fondant and how to achieve sharp edges
-How to make a pretty sugar peony
-How to paint flowers and birds onto a fondant covered cake
-How to use dusts and rose spirit to create the perfect paint
WHAT IS SUPPLIED
We supply the all the supplies and equipment for use on the day. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided (e.g. coffee, tea and biscuits).
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
An apron to protect your clothes.
You are welcome to bring note pad, pen and a water bottle. These are not compulsory and completely up to you.
We restrict this course to a maximum of twelve students per course. This gives you a better learning experience with our instructor.
