The U.S. is enjoying a large resurgence in energy production from both fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. Texas is one of the largest contributors to this growth, but many Houstonians approach the energy business from the supply side, rather than the demand side. Brian Conroy will demonstrate how population, wealth and energy efficiency combined have tripled global energy demand over the past five decades. He will also explain how much energy the world will need, where it will need it and how energy geo-politics is rapidly changing.

Following this presentation, there will be a discussion with Denmon Sigler, partner at Baker McKenzie. She is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Houston office. Sigler has over 17 years of experience and is widely recognized for her transaction expertise, being named to the Houston Business Journal's 'Who's Who in Energy'. She has extensive experience representing numerous energy services clients in complex, frequently cross-border, transactions. Sigler’s practice also includes the preparation and review of all types of oil and gas exploration and production related agreements and documents.

This event is graciously sponsored by Baker McKenzie.
