The workshop is taught by Anton Valdbauer who was born in Vorkuta Russia. He completed his dance education at The Academy of Russian Ballet name of Vaganova in Sankt Petersburg and Hochschule Für Music Und Darstelende Kunste Frankfurt.
He started his dance career at The European Ballet London and The State Opera and Ballet of Republic Komi Russia where he was a principal dancer in both classical and modern productions.
He has also danced with The Netherlands Dance Theater 2, The Cullberg Ballet and The Netherlands Dance Theater 1 before joining The Royal Swedish Ballet in 2012.
During his career Anton has created roles in choreographic works by some of the major names in the world of choreography such as Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin,Crystal Pite, Marco Goecke, Wim Vandekeybus, Johan Inger, Sharon Eyal, Alexander Ekman, Hans van Manen and others.
Intermediate and Advanced (Balettakademien level F-A) for intermediate participants over 16 years of age, vocational students and professional dancers. Application can only be made for the entire week.
