Stone & Sprocket Bush Playgroups are facilitated playgroups that run for two hours in local wild spaces by trained early childhood nature-based professionals. Children will have the opportunity to explore the rich sensory experience of nature whilst having access to wonderful tools and materials whilst parents relax in the tranquil surroundings of being outdoors.

MONDAY 10am-12pm

Children and families will have an opportunity to connect with each other in natural open spaces supported by trained teachers. Some of the experiences may include:


Storytelling circles

Using tools
Grinding herb and plants for dyes and teas
Using charcoal for drawing
Ropes, knots and lashing
Bush toys
Whittling
Bird watching
Bush walking
Claywork
Wind mobiles and kites
Nature mandalas
Insect hotels
Fire making and cooking
Technology and nature

A borrowing library is also available each week at no cost.
