#var:page_name# cover

A specially-staged performance in which the Sunderland band’s beautifully unpredictable brand of pop is augmented by strings, brass, wind and percussion.

Field Music – the brothers Peter and David Brewis – make gloriously intricate Rock music; with infectious melodies dovetailing across multiple time signatures complemented by the warm Mackem twang of either brother’s voice. Tonight’s celebratory show sees the core line-up of Peter and David, along with Kevin Dosdale on guitar and synth, Andrew Lowther on bass and Liz Corney on keys and vocals, joined by the team of players who performed on the band’s most recent albums. A chamber ensemble to lift Field Music’s music even further out of this world.

Their five albums as Field Music, including the Mercury-nominated Plumb and 2016’s Commontime, and numerous solo records, collaborations and film scores have received massive critical acclaim and an eclectic mix of celebrity fans, from Prince to Vic Reeves.
