The Smoky Mountain Blues Society is thrilled to bring National Recording star Walter Trout to the intimate setting of Barley's in Maryville! This show will undoubtedly be a SELL-OUT with only 150 tickets available, so you'll want to get yours early.
FEW MILES ON, our Cookeville Blues Connection, opens the SHow!
Walter's new album "We're all in this together" spent 22 weeks on the Billboard Blues charts, and for good reason. Walter Trout is the beating heart of the modern blues rock scene, respected by the old guard, revered by the young guns, and adored by the fans who shake his hand after the show each night. After five decades in the game, Trout is a talismanic figure and part of the glue that bonds the blues community together, at a time when the wider world has never been so divided.
In 2016, he won 2 Blues Music Awards in 2 categories, Rock Blues album and Best Song of the Year.
Tickets for the show are $25 for advanced purchases and $30 on day of the show. SMBS members still pay $25 for day of the show tickets, but you don't want to wait til then.
