On Friday, May 4 from 7:00 – 10:00 PM, Cape Symphony will be rehearsing for the American Mavericks concert, which will be performed May 5 & 6, featuring the music of superstar composer Leonard Bernstein, as well as Philip Glass and John Adams. Join us at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center for this rare open rehearsal – you’ll get a glimpse behind the scenes into how an orchestra rehearses and hear from Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak about how he prepares for a concert like this. We’ll also have a drawing for two tickets to a 2018/19 Season Masterpiece concert of your choice – everyone who comes will be automatically entered!

•7:00 PM Arrive at Barnstable Performing Arts Center, 744 West Main Street, Hyannis.

•7:15 PM Talk by Jung-Ho Pak, Artistic Director & Conductor of the Cape Symphony.

•7:30 PM Rehearsal for "American Mavericks."

•9:00 PM Short break. The rehearsal will continue until 10:00 PM, feel free to stay until the end!

•10:00 PM Rehearsal ends
