The jeweler's saw is one of the most fundamental metalsmithing skills. Add new dimension to your work by creating your own simple metal shapes, with and without negative space!

Prerequisite: None
Level: Beginner
Instructor: Christina

This class introduces students to new skills and tools including the jeweler's saw, metal shears, jeweler's files and piercing tools. You'll learn methods for cutting basic shapes from metal sheet or blanks, and how to manufacture your own jump rings. You'll also learn finishing techniques to easily incorporate these pieces into jewelry.

Cost: $45, all materials/class supplies provided and included
Minimum age: 9 years old
