Magnolia Cemetery was established by some of Beaumont’s most prestigious founding fathers. The cemetery provides insight into our community’s beginnings, the city’s cultural background and burial customs of the time. Magnolia cemetery is a non-profit Perpetual Care Cemetery serving Southeast Texas for over 120 years. It continues to be operated by a board of community leaders that have the goal of preservation and service for the community.
Heritage Happy Hour is an on-going partnership between the Beaumont Heritage Society and Giglio Distributing Co. typically held every other month, with each event highlighting an historical exhibit, time, or landmark, as well as a craft beer or brewery. We believe that by promoting and sharing our local history and its historical significance in a fun and social way, we can also share and promote the efforts to preserve Beaumont’s historical landscape.
