Join us for a special pre-workshop in association with the 2018 Partners in the Outdoors Conference in Breckenridge, CO. Come and learn how interpretation can benefit your educational messages –– including controversial issues. By joining forces with other agencies, organizations, and groups, you can expand your audience, share resources and ideas, and work together to create stronger messages.

We’ll explore:

How state and local agencies and non-profits are collaborating to train educators and volunteers in interpretation.

Black-footed ferret reintroductions—a partnership success story. A live black-footed ferret will be at the workshop!

Hunting as a management tool –– how can we effectively communicate to neighbors and recreators?

Visitor Use – sharing innovative ways interpreters can communicate about difficult topics, such as crowds on public lands.

The workshop is offered FREE, but registration is required.

Participants to this pre-conference workshop are eligible for a discount to the Partners in the Outdoors Conference. Discount code will be provided following registration for the pre-workshop.

RSVP by Friday, May 4. Visit http://bit.ly/2I7S3Eb to register.
