There are eight basic ways the body can physically go out of balance. Each one expresses its own unique set of symptoms and manifestations. This workshop will explore the 3 Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha,) the 8 ways the body goes out of balance and how one can prevent and avoid these symptoms. When we go out of balance, our emotions are usually the first state to be effected. There are 3 yoga poses that relate to each quality or emotion. We will learn about the emotional body and how these poses can soothe, energize and balance our emotional state. No knowledge of Ayurveda is necessary, wear soft movable clothing.
