The typical older adults takes five prescriptions and three over-the-county medications. Each of these offer risks and benefits. Know how to understand these risks and how age influences risk in order to make informed decisions for your health. In this program we will:
• Examine age-related risks associated with taking medications
• Explore the most common medication problems and potential solutions
• Discuss types of medications and the benefits and risks of each
