Focus on Calming and Centering Yoga for balanced emotions and physical strength.
This class is a lovely balance of my favorite kinds of yoga. We will begin with gentle therapeutic yoga to warm up your core and open your tight areas, building to strengthening yoga to improve your strength, balance, and coordination, transitioning to closing poses (inversions and backbends that are accessible for all levels) once your body feels open and free. We will then slow down with restorative poses with the props to support your body as you allow breath to flow and your body to simply relax. I will offer pose modifications if needed and also some more advanced variations for those of you who have more experience or are feeling strong. Please join us for this class, bring your mat and invite your friends!
