We am so excited about a new program called TOSSED! It starts out as a community service activity by picking up the litter that has been TOSSED to the ground and then making a sculpture out of it. Sculptures will be entered into the county fair and prizes will decided by popular vote during the week of the Benton County Fair. The program helps bring awareness to litter and its impact on the environment and our water quality through art. Some may not realize it but storm water flows untreated and drains directly to a creek, river, or lake, thus carrying litter and other pollutants and effecting water quality.
