The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley (ADACCV) is excited to present its 2nd Annual Spring Luncheon & Silent Auction being held April 26, 2018 at Bentwood Country Club from 11:30 am-1:00.
Our speaker this year is Roy Lee Richards, a veteran and former Texas judge from Tarrant County. Mr. Richards will share his story of addiction and recovery, which occurred during the time he was on the bench. His inspirational story serves to show that addiction can occur with anyone regardless of education, career or status in the community, and that recovery is possible.
In addition to our speaker, ADACCV will be holding a silent auction, which will include unique items and donations auctioned to the highest bidder.
All proceeds from this event will support the Journey Recovery Center, which will add much needed life-saving detoxification services for Concho Valley residents. It will also consolidate and double residential treatment services by providing 30 male and 18 female treatment beds.
Reservations for this event are $25 which can be made in person, at ADACCV’s Cotton Lindsey Center (3553 Houston Harte), or by calling 325-224-3481 or at adaccv.org. Reservations made via the website include a $1.25 convenience fee added. Seating is limited and reservations are required by April 19.
ADACCV has been promoting wellness and recovery for over 50 years and has assisted countless individuals to live free from the grip and dangers of alcohol and drugs. Please join us on our mission to save lives and create healthier communities!
