During a Virtual Dementia Tour experience, trained facilitator Lyn Hilgenberg guides participants through common everyday tasks and exercises while outfitted with patented devices that alter their senses. The Tour enables caregivers to experience for themselves the physical and mental challenges those with dementia face and use the experience to provide better person-centered care.
Join us on The Longest Day—a spring team event to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association®. This unique event is held annually, on
or near, the summer solstice. We chose the longest day of the year, to honor those living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers, for whom every day is the longest day.
