Students in grades 4 - 8 are invited to submit original essays, poetry,
artwork, photography and posters to be displayed during YWCA Bethlehem’s Stand Against Racism Student Showcase. DEADLINES FOR STUDENT SUBMISSIONS IS FRIDAY, APRIL 20. Each work should focus on one of three themes: Celebrate Diversity, Heroes Among Us, or Creating Justice.

All Entries should include the following information on a SEPARATE piece of paper: Title, Student Name, Grade, School, Town, Parent Name & Parent Email or Phone. This can be paper-clipped to written entries and "flat" artwork or taped/tied onto three-dimensional entries.

Written Entries: Written entries will be on display for visitors to read during the showcase. We suggest handwritten entries use somewhat large, neat lettering. Typed entries can use a larger font (20 - 24 point). Entries should be single-sided for display purposes and a maximum of four pages.

Art & Poster Entries: All media are welcome. 2-dimensional entries should NOT exceed 36" x 36". 3-dimensional work should not exceed 18" x 18" x 18" and must be sturdy enough and light enough to be handled and moved easily.

The Student Showcase will be held at the main branch of the Bethlehem library April 25th, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Students, families and the general public are invited to attend.
