Back in Bonn by popular demand:
Learn to deal with criticism, judgments and negative thoughts!

Do you have friends, colleagues, a partner or family members who ”make you” angry, disappointed, sad or frustrated at times? Do some people tell you that you ”make them” feel that way? Would you rather live your everyday life with less stress, frustration and guilt, and have more joy, choice, calm and ease?

In that case, we suggest you get to know Marshall Rosenberg´s Nonviolent Communication (NVC) – by some also called the Giraffe Language or empathic communication. "I don´t need this course", some might say, "because I am not violent!" And we agree. However, violence can also entail criticism, judgments and evaluations - which most of us use and hear every day.

NVC is used world-wide and focuses on what we need – at any point in time – and ways through which we can get what we and others need without so much stress, frustration and anger. You can read more about NVC on www.cnvc.org. We now offer a foundation course in Bonn for you to see how NVC can contribute to and enrich your life!

Two courses are offered in Bonn this time:

Foundation Course 1: Thu 7 June, 0900-1700hs and Fri 8 June, 1000-1800hs

Foundation Course 2*: Sat 9 June, 1100-1800hs and Sun 10 June, 1000-1800hs. For this course, Course 1 or two days of training with a Certified Trainer is a pre-requisite.

At these foundation courses we look at
- the essence of NVC and how it is used and lived out, also in difficult situations;
- ways of living that take help us care for our own needs and those of others;
- how we very practically can listen better and empathise and self-empathise;
- how we can take care of ourselves in a society full of criticism, evaluation, guilt and judgments.

The sessions will make use of practical examples from life and aims at ensuring relevance for all.

The facilitator, Gert Ceville-Danielsen, has worked on conflict management and peacebuilding since 1994. He also worked at the UN for 10 years, including with UNV in Bonn, and he applied NVC consciously during his time in captivity in Yemen in 2012. Gert is one of only two Certified NVC Trainers in Norway and promises interactive, practical, fun and exciting sessions!

Participants are invited to pay EUR 190 for each course, or EUR 350 for both, which includes a sandwich lunch both days, coffee and tea, snacks and a course certificate. Some discounts are available upon demand.

Kindly register by 11 May by filling in this registration form:
