Come and learn the basics of Yoga with Mia. This series will consist of three 1-hour beginner classes over three weekends and help you build a solid foundation. It will equip you with the tools and techniques that you can use to explore more advanced practice.

Mia has been practicing yoga since 1999. Her practice and training were based on Jivamukti yoga and Ashtanga yoga. She was guided by her teachers Yogeswari, Sharon Gannon and David Life, and later Kristin Leigh and Barbara Verrochi. She also took yearly extended trips to India to study with Rolf and Marci Naujokat. In 2009, she found Iyengar yoga and it felt like love at first sight. From there, she embarked on the path with Iyengar Yoga and in 2016, she became part of their two-year teacher training program with James Murphy, Tori Milner, Matt Dreyfus and Naghme Ahi. Mia is deeply grateful to her teachers Lara warren, James Murphy and all the faculty at the Iyengar institute with whom she continues her daily practice.
