DESCRIPTION
This day-and-a-half event will illuminate various aspects of transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary lives. From raising gender expansive children to use of hormone therapy, from best policies in healthcare to traumas affecting T/GNC lives, from liberating activist practices to concrete actions to take in your own practice, this event offers a comprehensive, new curriculum. This training is beneficial for health and human services providers, nurses, social workers, substance abuse counselors, mental health counselors, therapists, medical doctors, activists, students, pharmacists, academicians and everyone who is ready to make their practice and their world more affirmative.

If you attended last year’s training, we hope to see you again, as the content and format is brand new. This year, for the first time, we are also offering a form clinic where you can bring your forms and we will work with you to make them more LGBTQ+ affirmative and inclusive.
