This 2-hour prenatal class is breastfeeding specific, full of evidence-based and practical information to get your family off to the best start possible. The goal is for parents to leave this class feeling more confident and comfortable to begin their breastfeeding journey.

-How to get off to the best start in hospital or in home
-Importance of skin to skin contact and how this impacts breastfeeding
-Learn what is happening in your body when you breastfeed
-How to hand express and why this is such an important skill to have in your “tool box”
-Normal infant feeding behaviour

-How to establish and maintain a good supply

-Where to find support in your community
