Blackstone Valley Tourism Council's Sustainable Tourism Laboratory will host Megan Epler Wood to present her perspective on the United Nations Environmental Program's Green Economy Tourism Report.
Following that, participants will engage in a 60-minute Workshop with Epler Wood led by Robert Leaver of New Commons Inc.

About Megan Epler Wood:
Megan Epler Wood is the author of, Sustainable Tourism on a Finite Planet. She is the founder and president of EplerWood International, which since 2003 has fostered sustainable tourism development
in Africa, Asia, and Latin America for USAID, the World Bank group, the Inter-American Development Bank, Harvard University’s Center for Health and the Global Environment, Cornell University’s Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise, and the Planeterra Foundation, among others. Her company has raised millions of dollars of investment for sustainably designed tourism and community development projects in over twenty countries.
