Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians. “Herptiles” is an informal grouping of these two classes of animals. Join us as we seek out turtles, frogs, snakes, lizards, and salamanders, both on land and near the water. Learn how to identify different species of reptiles and amphibians, and explore what role they play in the different ecosystems they inhabit.

This class is taught by Adam Prince, and is eligible for 2.5 hours of Criteria II credit for the NC Environmental Education Certification. The class is $25 per person ($15 for students with an ID) and is limited to ages 15 and up. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot! *Registration now open!*
