The Mint Hill Police Department will host two free civilian “response to an active shooter” training events. This will take place at BRUMC (9135 Blair Road) on March 27 and April 17, 2018. Both training days will be from 6:00PM to 8:00PM in the Family Life Center. The topic will be the same for both nights.
This training is for the Mint Hill Community and open to the public to attend. The department’s Chief Tim Ledford and Captain Scott Hall will present the course. They are both pleased to be able to transfer their knowledge to the community. This event is designed to provide businesses and citizen groups with a basic understanding of how to survive an active shooter event
