The sun is setting over the beautiful bayou on a spring Sunday afternoon. You’re drinking a cold beer while your friends are serving their best sliders and cocktails. It could be only one event: the 21st annual Blend of the Bayou.

Grab a bite, beer, and bid! Your favorite local men who cook, brew and mix will be there serving up their best dishes and concoctions, and a dozen northeast Louisiana artists will be displaying their artwork for silent auction. All ticket proceeds and a portion of silent auction proceeds will benefit the Arts Council of Northeast Louisiana.

Local artists like Leah Reitzell and Dean Dablow will be displaying one-of-a-kind artwork for silent auction, and the LA Jazz Quartet will provide live music for the evening.

Tickets are $55. Tickets go on sale April 1. The Arts Council's 318 Club Members can purchase $45 early-bird tickets (limit 2) by calling the office at 318.397.6717.
