This fun Teen Yoga workshop, for girls age 13-16, will blend a flowing practice, breath work, meditation and journaling. This loving, supportive circle will encourage letting go of perceived perfection, embracing our inner most beauty and gifts and creating community.
We are so excited to welcome Michelle Gorman for this very special workshop. These days Teenagers are living fast paced, stressful lives not very different from adulthood. Tools gained in Yoga help to calm the mind, relieve tension and stress and facilitate peace and presence. Yoga fosters a positive body image, promotes self love and acceptance of others. Yoga develops a strong and flexible body, increases balance, body awareness and coordination. A Yoga practice supports individuality and self expression, builds inner and outer strength, and helps create heightened awareness of both oneself and others.
Cost is $25 per Yogi. Pre-registration is required and limited to 12 in our unheated Studio 2. Please bring a Yoga Mat and reusable water bottle. A journal and pen will be provided.
