Experience the mental and physical health benefits of mindfulness meditation, mantra, and mudra. Rebecca’s class, which meets the first Tuesday of each month, is designed to help you cultivate and support an at-home meditation and mantra practice as you enjoy the community of group meditation. A 60-minute meditation practice incorporating 10-15 minutes of gentle movement and breath (pranayama) to prepare the body to sit, followed by seated or supine (lying down) meditation and pranayama. Simple bija mantra (seed sound) is explained and demonstrated for practice in each class session. Mudra, hand seals, are demonstrated and explained for each session. No experience necessary.
