"The month of April is National Financial Literacy Month. The goal is to increase awareness of the need to save money, reduce debt and build wealth, all crucial tasks in our current economy . . ."
Well, the club has endeavored to do just that for 6 years now. . . and we have true, amazing success stories from members, past and present, whose lives have changed because of what we offer. From mini-workshops to our 6-week Summer Sessions, guest speakers to our crown jewel, The Stock Market Game, we continue to learn about finances and wealth appreciation as applied to our every day lives. It's our un-common way to a common sense approach to understanding the vast world of finance. Newcomers find out that, we were where they are at one point in our financial lives: bewildered, confused and overwhelmed!
Since April is National Financial Literacy Month, we are celebrating by extending an open invitation to those who are curious about finances and our club. So gather your friends, neighbors, partners and spouses, and come to our first official "Newcomers Night," Tuesday, April 10th,
6-7:30pm, at the Bloomfield Library.
Here are some of our accolades:
". . . most popular club at the library."
". . . like oxygen in a world of economic emphysema."
