Our Harvest Festival is approaching, and the children are involved in preparations leading up to the special gatherings to be held on Tuesday, 10th April.
The whole school will meet for a Michaelmas play followed by a Harvest soup (cost by gold coin donation—thank you so much!).
Children in Classes 3/4 and 5/6 need to meet with their teacher in their classroom at 4.45pm (with play starting 5pm). Parents will wait in the breezeway where the play will be staged. At the end of the short play, soup will be served outside the craft room and the playsetting will be a lovely setting for dinner. Please bring some mugs for soup for your family and a picnic rug. Families are asked to supervise their children in the amphitheatre area only.
Our wonderful school orchestra and parent choir will also present a few pieces during the evening.
Everyone is warmly invited and visitors are most welcome.
Harvest Table: please send in some harvest fare for our harvest table (ie pumpkins, corn, flowers, baskets, apples, autumn leaves, gumnuts). If anyone would like to be involved in setting up our harvest table, please see Lisa.
