8-week Mindfulness Training (ENGLISH!)

Are you looking for a more balanced life and less stress? Would you love to stop thinking and ruminating, improve your concentration and have a happier life?

Start working on the most important project of your life: yourself!

On Thursday september 14th, you can start with the 8-week mindfulness course (MBSR) that starts. In these eight weeks you'll build on a mindful attitude, expand your attention span and learn to navigate a personal meditation routine, that will support you the rest of your life.

By practicing mindfulness you'll learn:
* To better deal with tension, emotions, restlessness and rumination.
* To better handle physical challenges and problems.
* To better learn how to recognize and respect the boundaries in your body & mind
* To learn to accept your experiences just as they are.
* To live more in the moment and experience "the now"
* To keep responding more adequately and elegantly on environmental stimuli
* To make more conscious choices
* To get a grip on your inner world and thus learn to live life in a healthy and stress-resistant way.

Mindfulness and medittaion are skills that you can learn and develop. The more you practice, the easier it will be to be skillful. Just like learning to play piano or learning to speak a new language. Practicing will help you to develop the skills and ability to be mindful.

Mindfulness is not a woolly concept, but a practical technique that you can learn to adapt and use in your own life. This way you'll develop the ability to create more rest, attention and joy for yourself in the NOW.

Before the training starts I would like to have a interview with you by phone or face-to-face to meet each other. This conversation will help me to better guide you during the training.

// About Nicoline
Nicoline Smalbraak (1984) studied philosophy and psychology to better understand humans. After being a meditator for years and visiting retreats in the Netherlands and abroad she decided to follow a formal education to be a Mindfulness Teacher at the Centre for Mindfulness in Amsterdam. The scientific background of meditation in mindfulness is one that Nicoline feels comfortable with. Her down to earth and practical approach make her teachings very accessible. Besides 8-week courses she teaches meditation at Bluebirds Yoga, De Bewustzijn School and De Nieuwe Yoga School, she organizes mindfulness retreats and in-company trainings, and works with people on a individual basis. She is a part of the VMBN association in category 2.
