Nigel started out playing music by the Shadows (yes – it was that many years ago!), then the John Mayall Bluesbreakers album with Eric Clapton changed everything, along with Fleetwood Mac, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Free, Rory Gallagher. Later years saw BB King, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray & Jimmie Vaughan, Albert King & Albert Collins exerting their influence followed by Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, Eric Bibb and Keb’ Mo’.
In 1997 he was offered the job of front-man with THE MIGHTY 45s and that’s when he started singing for a living as well as playing the guitar.
Nigel has a full list of gigs mainly in SE England where is performs his own interpretation of self-penned and classic blues numbers. Smoky vocals, fiery but sensitive guitar..... from classic acoustic to contemporary electric Blues with a big helping of Country, Soul & Rock ‘n’ Roll
