Boheme Blend ATS - Intro to Improvised Tribal Style
American Tribal Style is commonly referred to as "sign language for belly dancers". It is a system of movements and cues that allows for a non-choreographed, yet synchronized, group belly dance performance. Movements are based on FCBD, Gypsy Caravan, Unmata, Domba, Black Sheep, and other established dialects, as well as some original Boheme content. Students will learn a lexicon of ATS movement, including cues, transitions and basic group formations. Students will need to purchase zils (finger cymbals).
