During Bellingham Beer Week, we invite you to "Walk for Paws" from Boundary Bay Brewery to Paws for a Beer! Enjoy a scenic walk along Boulevard Trail with your pup (or cat!) and help support a great cause! Proceeds from this event will go towards our local Whatcom Humane Society.

Participants will gather at 5pm at Boundary Bay Brewery, where humans will get to enjoy complimentary root beer and celebrate our Dog Friendly Beer Garden. At 5:30pm, we’ll walk as a group along the Boulevard Trail to Fairhaven’s Paws For A Beer. Upon arrival, pets will receive a Paws For A Beer swag bag, and humans can choose to enjoy beverages, music and a food truck by Kid Sister Taco!

At Paws For A Beer, proceeds from Boundary Bay’s Cedar Dust IPA and Ski to Sea IPA will be donated to Whatcom Humane Society.
Additionally, folks can receive discounted membership to Paws for a Beer if they choose to signup on April 25th.

Registration is $10 per human/pet combo and includes a day pass to Paws For A Beer. Pre-registration is not necessary, just show up, make payment, and walk with us!

If you are bringing your dog to Paws For A Beer for the first time, please make sure to read though the rules on their website before entering their business: http://www.pawsforabeer.com

**Please note that while this is a kid-friendly event, Paws For A Beer is 21+ ONLY. There will be a designated area for kids outside and away from the regular beer area, and not inside the fenced area.

Transportation Options:

WTA BUS- Dog Friendly with some stipulations. Dogs must be on-leash. If the dog is disruptive (growling, barking, whining, etc) then you may be asked to leave the bus immediately.

UBER- All Bellingham Ubers are Dog-Friendly you do not need to make any special requests.

We understand that some participants may not want to walk BOTH directions so we hope these transportation options are useful.
