On Tuesday, May 8, join John Berry for an outing to Bradley Pond Farm, a privately owned working farm in Topsham that is permanently protected by a conservation easement held by the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust. This walk is through a variety of habitats, including hayfields, stone walls, and Bradley Pond from the hush of deep woods. This relatively easy walk will pass through fields and woods with occasional glimpses of the pond.
We'll focus on spring migrants: warblers, flycatchers, blackbirds, vireos, sparrows, and an occasional raptor. Bring your binoculars, and meet at the second parking lot at Bradley Pond Farm at 8:00 a.m. For more information, contact John Berry at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Spring Birding Extravaganza is a free series of birding events held in partnership with Merrymeeting Audubon, Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, Harpswell Heritage Land Trust.
