It’s the Brick Store Museum’s 4th Annual Southern Maine Steampunk Fair!
Steampunk often features anachronistic technologies or “retro-futuristic” inventions as people in the 19th century might have envisioned them. The era’s perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, invention and art all play into the visual culture of Steampunk - much like what’s found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne!
Included this year:
- Artists and crafters;
- Wandering performers;
- Victorian lawn games;
- Scheduled demos and presentations on Steampunk and Victorian culture;
- Creation Station for kids and adults;
- Music, food, and fun!
Family-friendly costumes are encouraged!
