Chill out and drink coffee with your peers. There is also an opportunity for you to perform and share your art. Bring your music, poems, comedy, skits, scripts, and short stories to the Bridgehead at 1172 Bank Street for our first ever off-campus coffeehouse.* Entrance is by donation, and all proceeds go towards LEAF (Women's legal and education fund). Sign up to perform with the link below, and we hope to #CUthere.

A little about LEAF:
The LEAF education programs educate and empower both young women and men by teaching them about sexual rights, responsibilities, and the meaning of consent in law, so that they are less likely to become victims – or perpetrators. This is achieved through the dynamic workshops that discuss Supreme Court of Canada cases involving equality rights, and challenge commonly held stereotypes about women.
Based in Ottawa, JSOC chose LEAF as our organization this year because we support #METOO and #TIMESUP. We believe in creating a consciousness about the obstacles women encounter in their daily lives, both personal and professional.

*Coffee, Tea, Decaf, Lattes, Cappuccinos will be served on an order basis, so bring cash or card.
