Scenarios – Each scenario will be rolled ahead of the round by the Tournament Organiser, this roll will apply to all games taking place that round.

Clocks
This event will use chess clocks (there are some at the venue, but having an app on your phone or your own is a good idea!) and players will get 50 minutes each. In the event of a player timing out, they will not automatically lose, however they will only be able to issue pivot orders. Their opponent will then continue to play until they finish their turn(s) or time out themselves. Additionally, a round clock will be used for all players, this will allow for 1 hour and 50 minutes per round and enable the event to stick to the advertised schedule. This will provide players with an extra 10 minutes in addition to the 50 minutes each on chess clocks to go over army lists/rules queries etc. Once the round timer expires all games are
to cease, results are to be calculated and provided to the TO.

Painting
Players will receive an extra 5 tournament points if their army is painted to a tabletop standard and another additional 5 tournament points if all models in the army are based.

Scoring System
The event will use the 20-0 scoring system, with VPs being the deciding factor between two players on the same number of tournament points.

Tournament points will be awarded as follows
Win – 15 Points
Draw – 10 Points
Loss – 5 Points
Then, modify your score according to the VP difference –
VP Difference Highest VP player modifier/ Lowest VP player modifier
1600+ +5 / -5
1200-1599 +4 / -4
800-1159 +3 / -3
400-799 +2 / -2
