Who: All Runners!
What: Race the SEPTA Route 45 Bus at Rush Hour Through South Philadelphia to Center City
When: Thursday, April 5, 5:30 PM (prepare and line up), 5:43 PM Start
Where: Starting at Broad and Oregon, we’ll race the 5:43 p.m. bus for 3 miles going north through South Philadelphia to Center City. The race will end at 11th and Market.
How: We encourage all runners to walk or take SEPTA’s Broad Street Line to Oregon Station (Broad St. and Oregon Ave.). From there, we’ll catch the scheduled 5:43 PM Route 45 bus, which will make all regular stops. Go Philly Go will provide a bicycle “sweep fleet” to keep all participants safe and on course. Clean Air Council will also be on hand with a safety vehicle and to transport participant belongings to the finish.
And: Thanks to our ever-gracious co-host, Clean Air Council, Happy Hour from will follow the race at Milkboy Center City, where all runners will be treated to a free beer and bites. 6pm - 7:30 pm.
All Race the Bus participants will receive a discounted registration to the Run for Clean Air on April, 22. Top 10 finishers who BEAT THE BUS will receive a special prize.
