Join us on April 19, 2018 for a fun adventure through the zoo. Students will explore the Cypress Swamp and Upland Forest, learn about the plants and animals within these habitats, and discuss how they are all connected. Students will learn about producers and the process of photosynthesis. All students will enjoy a live animal presentation to meet some of our native consumers, and then wrap up with a mini lesson on decomposers.
Older students will engage in a “Zoo Done it” murder mystery to identify the consumer/predator who is on the loose.
Students will wrap up the day with a food chain craft and activity to illustrate the day’s lesson!
