The Youngdahl Lecture series is a signature program of the Brown School and includes a legacy of nationally-prominent speakers. The 2018 Youngdahl keynote will be delivered by Louis W. Sullivan, MD.
From being the founding dean of Morehouse School of Medicine – the first predominantly black medical school established in the 20th Century – to serving as the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, Dr. Sullivan has devoted his career to advancing public health and medicine, reducing inequities in the medical field, and bridging ideological divides.
