Join us on 5/5 and 5/6 as we and our Poblano staff celebrate the victory at Puebla of the scrappy Mexican army over the invading French, over 150 years ago. Mexican sovereignty and cultural heritage thus preserved, Puebla remains home to dishes as profoundly flavorful as they are elegant expressions of nature's vibrant bounty: of corn; of the chile; of the tomato and tomatillo (all of which were indigenous to the Americas, hence relatively recent additions to European cuisines.)
Our special a-la-carte menu will feature numerous tacos, tostadas, ceviche, and other delights freshly made for the occasion. No mayonnaise, no deep-fried junk, none of the heaviness and cheap ingredients that have sullied "Mexican" food here in the USA. Experience how wonderful the cuisine can be when prepared with the care and reverence it deserves! (along with a little creative interpretation.)
Of course, our bar will be cranking out Chef Joe's freshly squeezed, top-shelf margaritas, featuring exceptional Siembra Valles tequila and Ferrand Curaçao.
