Have you wanted to be a part of the Al-Madinah Cultural Center Board? Well now is your chance, because the AMCC Board Elections will be taking place on Friday, April 20.
Nominations for the Executive Board are now open and must be submitted to email@example.com. Nominations are due on Friday, April 13 at 11:59 PM.
To run for any position on the AMCC board (excluding treasurer) you must be nominated as a candidate for that position. Inidviduals are allowed to nominate themselves, can nominate as many people they would like, and nominate someone for multiple positions.
If nominated, you will receive an email the day after the nomination deadline and have a limited number of days to respond. If you choose to accept your nomination you must respond with a short bio and prepare a two minute speech to give to the general body on Friday, April 20.
Within a couple days after the elections have concluded you will receive an email telling you whether or not you have been elected to be on the AMCC board.
When nominating a candidate please include your full first name and last name, the candidate's full first name and last name, candidate's x500 (UMN email), and position you are nominating the candidate for.
