Signed up for a marathon lately? If you are new to endurance running, or have been running for a long time but would like to join a bunch of enthusiastic kakis for a weekend run, then join Coach Karen Siah as she shares her tips and techniques to surviving those several kilometres.
Those who are interested to start their own running journey are encouraged to join this Part 1 of the 12 part running series, #bukitpuchong Running Clinic.
What you'll gain out of THIS clinic:
- Marathon running form: the foot strike and stride that will take you the distance.
- Breathing techniques: how to control your breathing and your heart rate.
- Marathon pacing: how to pace your run so you don't end up burning out before the finish line.
Clinic is followed by a 5km run in Bukit Puchong, so you can put what you've learned into practice. The running form, the breath, the pacing. And finally the nutrition, where refreshments will be served at the end of the run.
