- A live recording for CBC Radio
Comic and storyteller Sam Mullins been married for seven months, so he's pretty much an expert.
Join Sam and brilliant Toronto performers Kris Siddiqi and Kayla Lorette for an hour of comic stories and sketches about the whole getting married thing - dating, the proposal, the ceremony, the photographer, the reception and the honeymoon. We're recording this show for national broadcast on CBC Radio One this summer.
Sam Mullins has been heard on The Moth and This American Life and he wrote some of the most popular sketches on the Irrelevant Show, including Mom Downloads a Podcast, Dad Sounds and How to be Naked at the YMCA.
SAM MULLINS BIO
I’m Sam Mullins, a two-time Canadian Comedy Award–winning writer and performer living in Toronto. I’ve worked as a staff writer on CBC’s Air Farce NYE Special, wrote for five seasons on the CBC radio sketch program The Irrelevant Show and have contributed to College Humor. As a storyteller, I’ve been featured on This American Life, The Moth, CBC’s DNTO and the RISK! Podcast. I’ve performed my award-winning solo shows Tinfoil Dinosaur, Weaksauce and The Untitled Sam Mullins Project all across North America.
This summer, my wife and I are expecting our first child — a girl. So lately I’ve been spending most of my time reading baby books and feeling anxiety.
