Happy spring to all my gardening friends! The 2018 MG class is almost done and we are gearing up for our graduation celebration on April 18 at 11:00 here at the Extension office. I encourage everyone to come and bring a friend, spouse, etc. if you would like. This is a chance to meet the new class and to see old friends and classmates. It's also a great opportunity to have a fabulous meal. As usual, the meal will be covered dish with the EMGVA providing fried chicken as our meat. I challenge everyone to cook up their best dish-you know, the one everyone asks for at Thanksgiving and Christmas and bring it with you. Desserts are also welcomed!
Come in and join us for a little reminiscing and a lot of laughter and piles of great food as we welcome our newest MGs and show them how happy we are that they have joined us. We're a great group and we have a lot to be proud of and I personally think we're the best group in the state-I know we have the nicest people. If you haven't been able to participate during the past year, don't let that stop you from coming in and having a good time. Life happens and sometime our plans don't turn out like we hope but you are still important to me and to our group.
Maybe we should call it the Combination MG Graduation and Family Reunion!
We will start at 11:00 and I do hope to see all of my friends on April 18. Donna
